Conichi is The Hotel App that connects guests and hotels with the vision to create memorable guest experiences and help ease the time-consuming elements of hotel check-in and check-out for business travelers.
Through secure mobile payment, conichi saves time and enables fast check-in/-out. conichi allows hotels to cleverly upsell and directly communicate with guests through push-notifications. Prior to arrival, shared guest preferences and profiles enhance personal interaction. The app has been developed to work with virtually any hotel’s property management system, enabling simple implementation for both independent hotels and chains.
conichi was founded in 2014 by Maximilian Waldmann and Frederic Haitz. Entrepreneurial by nature, Max founded his first employment service company already in 2007. After studying Business Management at the University of Bath and the Singapore Management University, he worked for international companies such as KPMG, Kleinwort Benson and Google before diving deeper into the digital sector and founding conichi. The technology is currently being used by hotels across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and on track to be deployed in France, Netherlands, USA and China over the next two years.
